The St Richard's Festival is an annual event held in Droitwich Spa, a town in Worcestershire,

Vines Park. Photo: Erika Rosales

England, in honour of St. Richard of Chichester, who is the patron saint of Droitwich and -as the legend has it- made the town's brine well flow again in the Middle Ages.

The festival typically takes place over the May Bank Holiday weekend and features a range of activities and entertainment for visitors of all ages.

The festival usually includes a variety of live music and dance performances, as well as a 'Great procession of Thanksgiving' through the town's streets to the Upwich Pit in Vines Park.

There are also numerous food and drink vendors, arts and crafts stalls, and other attractions to enjoy.

The festival helps to create a sense of vibrancy and vitality in Droitwich Spa and brings people together to celebrate.
